To become a Freemason, you must:
be a male of 21 years,
believe in a supreme being, and
be of high moral standing (you cannot have a criminal record or be awaiting outcome of criminal charges).
The most direct way to become a Freemason is to ask a Freemason about joining. It's literally that simple. If you know a Mason, even if you only know his name, he will always welcome questions about our Fraternity and be willing to help you find your path to initiation as a Brother. If you don't know a Freemason, you can contact your local Lodge for information. Learn more by visiting our Freemasonry page. You can also visit the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador.
